The Bird Treatment and Learning Center in Anchorage rehabilitates all manner of birds- from eagles to ravens to chickadees. I volunteer there
one day a week. I get to pick up eagles for treatment (always an
experience of note), but I also get to scrub their poop out of astroturf mats. Call it the price of admission.
